Community and stakeholder input is critical to decision-making for this project. Chapel Hill Transit has provided outreach opportunities in the current phase of the project to share information about the project, solicit feedback on preferred station amenities, solicit feedback on bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, gage support for the Locally Preferred Alternative (LPA), and collect feedback on station area design and transit supported development. Chapel Hill Transit staff and project team members provided informational booths at community events, held neighborhood meetings and community-wide open houses and conducted design workshops.
